Credo of the Paranoid Environmental Wacko Fringe

by
James R. Muri

Don't bore me with facts
I don't want to believe.
When you tell me the truth,
There's plots up your sleeve.

Credentials

by
James R. Muri

I have teeth in my mouth and I like them.
I bite, and I chew, and sometimes I gnash them.
Since I'm so smart, and know so much about them,
Why, I must be a dentist.

I have a brain, and sometimes I use it.
I think, and I dream, and sometimes play with it.
Since I'm so smart, and know so much about it,
Why, I must be a brain surgeon.

I have a car and sometimes I like to drive it.
I wheel, and I turn, and often take trips with it.
Since I'm so smart, and know so much about it,
Why, I must be an auto mechanic.

(Note to reader: Continue to insert as many verses
along a similar line as you wish here, then go to
the last verse.)

I have plants and a pet and I see living things.
Things with gills, and fur, and sometimes with wings.
Since I'm so smart that I can name them,
Why, I must be an environmentalist.

About Species

By
James R.Muri

Species come and species go.
How or why, I don't know.
I just know that they do,
Without even asking you.

Since time began it's been so
First they'd come, and then they'd go
But Ecoman now stands and shouts
If you're here you can't check out.
